WiValley/Otelco Wireless Network Update . . .

Delays from injury and covid-19 related issues slowed progress down during the months of June/July. Progress is getting back on track now and remaining network poles are being installed and connected to the internet in Savoy. This week WiValley is working on connecting a main network pole (80 ft) on Haskins road.  This pole will be connecting and locating remaining network poles in Savoy.

The four towns FHMS Broadband Committee is meeting on Friday, August 28, at 4:30 pm in Florida, Ma to discuss the current status of the FHMS Broadband Project. Citizens are invited to join by call in or connect online on Freeconferencecall.com only. We ask you to please not interrupt the meeting with questions. There will be a citizens’ Q&A at the end of the agenda for questions we did not discuss during the meeting. We will ask for your input as we need it.
