PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
SAVOY SELECT BOARD
The Savoy Select Board will hold a public meeting under the provisions of Chapter 166 of General Laws and any additions thereto or amendments thereof, a public hearing on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 5:30 P.M., at the Savoy Town Hall: 720 Main Rd., Savoy, to consider Eversource’s request to install:
- A new 40/1 joint owned pole at 227 Main Road, Savoy, MA between poles 21/30 and 21/31. Pole will be located in the town r.o.w. 150’ from pole 21/30. It will be set 25’ from the road center line.
- A new 40/1 joint owned pole at 97 Main Road, Savoy, MA between poles 21/17 & 21/18. Pole will be located in the town r.o.w. 150’ from pole 21/17. It will be set 20’ from the road center line.
- New 40/1 joint owned poles at 111 Main Road, Savoy, MA between poles 21/20 and 21/21, and 21/21 and 21/22. Poles will be located in the town r.o.w. 120’ from P.21/20 set 25’ from road center line and 135’ from P.21/21 set 25’ from the road centerline.
- A new 40/1 joint owned pole at 111 Main Road, Savoy, MA between poles 21/22 and 21/23. Poles will be located in the town r.o.w. 70’ from P.21/22 set 20’ from road center line.
- A new 40/1 joint owned pole at 199 Main Road, Savoy, MA between poles 21/28 and 21/29. Poles will be located in the town r.o.w. 135’ from P.21/28 set 25’ from road center line.
The purpose for all poles is the long span length and the addition of a new fiber cable.
This is to give notice to the applicant, abutters, and any interested parties.
