The annual JAM Fund Cycling event is around the corner. We expect 250-300 riders to participate in this year’s annual charity bike ride. The event is fully insured through the nation’s leading cycling governing body, USA Cycling. Our event is a ride, not a race. Cyclists from all over the New England area and beyond will ride through several towns like Savoy. All cyclists are expected to obey all rules of the road. The ride starts and ends at the Cummington Fairgrounds.
Riders have three route distances to choose from, and all leave at the same time from the fairgrounds. Each route has multiple rest stops that are fully staffed by our volunteer team. The rest stops are supplied with cool water, food, shade and an area for the riders to get off their bikes without impeding traffic. We will also have follow vehicles and technical support crews in case there are any bike mechanical issues.
We appreciate your support in making our even a special day for the community and for helping the JAM Cycling Fund reach its goals of supporting our youth.
